in response to soulight...It's actually a funny thing, knowing there are no accidents in life, I ended up here looking for some type of assistance, being disabled my ownself, and what I found was this wonderful thing your doing for those in need. I am a single mother of a 14 yearold. I work a part-time job, it don't pay much but it keeps a roof over our heads. My son has medical problems. He has had his colon removed before the polyps turn cancerous. The polyps keep coming back, so to keep them from turning cancerous he has to get his rectal lazzerd every 6 months the rest of his life. I've had to do some repairs toy van but still in need of car repairs. I just replaced my thermostate and a new battery but now it wont start. I was told I need a tune-up and replace the coil from ignition to my mastercylinder needs to be replaced. I am seeking help for Christmas and car repairs. So that way I can take my son to and from dr appointments. Plus be able to take my grandaughter to church like we've been doing for the last year. My son ends up in the hospital a couple of times a year for weeks at a time, so I have to take time off.

HELLO, JUST TRYING TO GET HELP WITH MY SATURN SUV THAT WAS TOOKEN TO SOME SHADY MECHANICS, THAT DID NOT KNOW HOW TO GET IT RUNNING, THEY GAVE ME THE RUN AROUND THE WHOLE TIME, ALL I NEEDED WAS THE TRUTH NOW ITS BEEN SITTING SINCE JULY OF 2010. I DROVE IT THERE BUT I HAD TO GET IT TOWED OFF THEIR LOT. THE REASON IT NEEDED TO BE FIXED WAS BECAUSE IT RAN HOT AND STOPPED RUNNING BECAUSE SOME STREET THUGS STOLE IT FROM MY APT I LEFT MY KEYS IN MY DOOR COMING FROM WORK ONE NIGHT:( SO I'VE BEEN USING A FRNDS CAR WITH NO INSURANCE SINCE, JUST RECENTLY HE CAME WITH THE SHERRIFF TO GET IT BACK. we are a millitary family that has a really hard time in this past year, my husband returned home from iraq just over a year ago soon after we became homeless with 5 children due to black mold in a home we rented we lost everything. We did find a place and thought everything was going good then we find out the home we are renting was being forclosed.Just cant seem to get a head. I just wanted to say hello, its is sad to know so many of us are out here with needs, but it is also nice to have this group to uplift and support one another. Many of us share common problems, I have lost my house, and I am evicted, I have to be out by September 18th. While we were blessed with a new house that we really wanted, and that was a miracle in itself, we have no way to move our household goods to the new home. The house is 5 hours away. I dont have the answers but I do have the faith that someone out there will help us. I have 3 amazing little boys, each with unique problems, two with drug alcohol births, one just diagnosed with Tourettes, they drive me crazy, but I would not trade even one day without them.
We are all going thru hard times, some of us harder than we ever thought we would ever see in this country, It may get worse before we ever see it get better, but stand fast, pray, dont let it get you down no matter what! Am I worried, yes at times, its not hard too worry and struggle in these times. I have two things that keep me going, my faith, and my 3 little boys, and if I lost everything tommorow, I still got them, and no one can take that from me.
One person here said they called stations and told them they would kill themselves or others, Please dont think that way, life is to precious a thing to take , your own or someone elses, dont let the evil that seems to be comming into this world destroy you. I lost 4 children in death, my husband is gone , my parents are gone, believe me this life is worth living. 5 years ago I had over one hundred thousand in the bank, I lost my house in NM, lost my money trying to save everything and lost it anyway. Now I am asking for help. Dont give up, we will all make it. God Bless All of you richly, and may all your wishes and dreams come true.
Been looking at this sight and while it is encouraging that Im not alone in my struggle... it is very depressing to know what the world has come to now. I have even tried calling local tv stations and been hung up on when I threaten to kill myself or others just to get any attention to my struggle. I was hoping to find help here but then I realized, there is just not a lot of help for us because if someone did finally doing something, there would be so many people coming for help they would not be able to help all... so WOW!! At this point I just feel like I should stop fighting so hard for answers and just live out my life and as the joke goes... "Die Quietly", squeezing in as many good memories before I go. When I hear prayer, Im swallowed in Hopelessness because I wonder if God remembers me at times... I know he loves me cause he helps me get by, but Im tired of suffering and looking for something and seeing nothing all the time but more problems. I hope you find someone soon, I hear people say all the time that there are many single mothers in time, but try being one now in this economy... much worst and no I dont feel they could understand.

Wish I could kill myself at times but my kids are special needs and their Dad will have nothing to do with them but If I die from lack of medical care, is that any better? i was born with muscualr dystrophy told i would never walk, just graduated high school and was on the dance team proved the doctors wrong about the walking but i dont walk like the average person. dealt with bullyinh my entire life and about to go to college in need of financial help :(
Hello everyone, I am writting this for my 24 year old son, that was in a terrible motorcycle accident January 2011. He occur many injuries, fracture of the entire left side of the face, brachial plexus injury and to top it all head injury. He had lost his speech and partial memory. His taste buds and smell was also affected. After a year and half he is finally able to speak a few simple phrases. He's reading and writing has also been highly affected. Until 3 weeks ago the one thing that was really helping him broke (his computer). I would buy Him a new one but I have a very low income. SO I was wondering How and where I could go to find a free computer. Thanks for any advice....: A mom with a crying heart for her baby

Hello Soulight, it is always a welcoming feeling of peace when I meet others who have a heart for others as well! Willing to take time out of their lives to pray for others as you would yourself! I,also share the same feeling of compassion for others..in all walks of life. Everyone needs prayer as well as love so that each of us can keep paying it forward. I have struggled all my life, still do! But, also being thankful for the blessings of my life, children, & the love of my life I once had. Because, even though we are not together aqnymore; I got the chance to feel that love....not letting go of it either! All things are possible with God as my Father!! Hi, My name is Jackie. I do pray for you. I have had simular problems. Type 1 diabetes since I was 15. Fibro. for the last 1 1/4 yrs. and thyroid problems. I am working and have been working in a factory for 7 1/2 yrs. Standing on my feet continuous thru out the day. They have been pretty good at first. But now not so much, as they see they easily can replace me with so many out of work. I have had diabetes for 33 years, yes it is getting harder to control, as my hormones and length of the disease wears on my body. All I want is a way to back to school, so I can contribute to society. I have already researched and found for my age and income level, it is paid for basicly. One problem regular bills, meds, correct food, gas, housing, etc. They are there too. Have not found help for them, to be able to go back. Did I miss something in my research? Also, as you will understand, the lack of energy is always there. I do not trust myself to take on school and a full time job at the same time. Yes I already have asked for part-time work at my job. They all say NO! Have for the last 4 years. Even though they have hired other part-time workers during that time. You talk about being a single parent, I was too. Now have 2 grandchildren and 2 I heartfully adopted as mine. If you have any suggestions please advise me, please. May God Bless You and Yours. You know it is not a sin to ask for him to heal you. I SO wish I had money to help you but maybe soon, when I get out of school I am definitely coming back here and helping people because I know the field I am going to be working in is very lucrative and I'll have money to help. I know what it's like to go without, to be evicted, to not have food, to see my kids suffer because I can't provide the way they deserve. I think you did a very courageous thing and I applaud you. About 2 years ago, I was researching on-line, trying to find ways to make money from home. During my research I found a website called Maximum Paid Surveys and I have attached the link for your review. It’s the only legitimate site I could find. I paid $39.99 to have access to the member’s website. It gives you step by step instructions on how to register to take surveys as well as other ways to make money at home. However, I have very little time to use the website. Based on what I've read about this website, it's possible to make lots of money taking surveys, but of course it also takes time, which I have very little of. My husband is still critically ill and has been in the hospital for almost eight weeks now. I am facing eviction soon. I am scared....I have two kids. i was wondering how i can get some help for christmas. We have had a hard year, my husband is in the active navy resurves. He is trying to find a job. As of now we are not going to have a christmas. If anyone could tell me how to get some help in illinois i would love the info. I have been trying to resurch and i have had no luck. Thank you for sharing your wonderful way of looking at life with us. Living each moment to the fullest is SO IMPORTANT ! I have heard that all my life , and not until I lost most of my ability to get around and enjoy life without being in pain or having mobility problems did I understand . My God and my daughter are the most important things in my life. Thank God I still have both. That is all I need. The rest can fall by the wayside.
Please , anyone who has anything good in your lives , be thankful for what you do have and don't always be searching for more. Appreciate life and all the beauty around you . If you had a meal today , be thankful . There are those who haven't eaten for days. If you have more than one set of clothes , you are rich according to some people in Third World countries. Do you have a car ? You are Blessed beyond measure. Is everyone healthy in your family ? You have riches . Can you read? A world of amazing things is open to you. Can you walk without pain ?
